Academic Parent-Teacher Teams
September 22, 2016
We have begun a new and exciting year of learning, and you are a valuable member of your child’s success team. To get us off to a great start, I would like to invite you to our first Academic Parent-Teacher Team (APTT) Meeting, which is a model for developing parent-teacher partnerships to better support your student’s learning.
At this meeting, you will:

2) Establish goals and expectations for your child’s learning.
3) Be involved in sample lessons that show how your child is being asked to think.
4) Learn how to help your child with their new learning goals.

This school year, we are so happy to be able to provide evening sessions. These sessions will run from 5:30-6:45 p.m. on the same date listed above for your child’s grade level and will be held in the Media Center. This session will provide a general overview of the grade level goals, how to interpret your child’s data, and also how to engage your child in the grade level take-home activities.
You are so important to your child’s academic success. Please mark your calendar now. It is critical to attend these important meetings so we can work together for your child’s success.
